Making Snake Tongues on Scream Queens Part 2

Getting the tongues to work on ep 4 of Scream Queens was a process. First, we shot a hiss with not tongue, then a crazy looking bacon tongue pulled by a fishing wire. Finally, I rotoscoped out the tongue, scaled it, and tracked it on top of shot 1. Down and dirty, zero budget, but pretty much worked. My advice: hire real visual fx pros if at all possible, but don't give up on a shot just because you can't afford to get it done.
