One BIG reason to handle iran with kid gloves is irans ability to disrupt the transportation of middle eastern oil via the STRAIT OF HORMUZ.
Iran knows this is a vital OIL CHOKE POINT and uses it to their advantage.
Imagine the negative worldwide,economic implications should iran form a blockade of this IMPORTANT oil waterway.
15 million barrels of oil-per-day flow through it.

@rabbitfaithful Oh yes, I understand they are modeling, researching. "Developing" is a rather loaded word. Are they MANUFACTURING a nuclear weapon? No! Do they have a nuclear warhead? No! How many nuclear weapons do they own/have they inventoried? Zero. Can you count up to zero? Yes, even a 3 year old can!
