(Episode 11) Sorry this is up so late. I uploaded it yesterday but Youtube isn't allowing to upload over 15 minutes so I had to render it again -_-

Anyways, this topic is a very interesting one to me and I think it is going to be an important one for Mass Effect 3. So, I hope you enjoy it!

  • lol if my game ever gets out

can you do a video like this for it

  • @ghost59able of course :D

  • Your an idiot. A DLC character has to be a character that is fun but not connected to the main story. A Prothean is VERY important to that main storyline and will be found through story missions in the main game. Why you think such a squadmember would be relegated to DLC considering A) the amount of effort it would take to explain how he survived B) how important the Prothean tech will be in beating the Reapers and C) how many people would be after a Prothean if one survived. You cant do that

  • @ThePhoenixrider100 It was on the N7 Collectors Edition box. Bioware then removed it shortly after. Now there is leaked info regarding that...I won't mention it here but let's just say DLC or no DLC, they CAN do whatever they want.

  • I vaguely remember reading some planetary data in Mass Effect 1, that a Volus billionaire was researching the legend of a super-weapon created by beings of light that was used to defend that world from giant evil robot demons. Everyone thought he'd gone insane and he was ridiculed by Prothean experts at the time. I wonder if that is going to play into Mass Effect 3.

  • @ThePhoenixrider100 what I said was the DLC character will be a tag along character. As to what the Prothean part of the story is, it will be in the story regardless of whether the DLC character is bought or not. You're assumptions are exactly that, so don't talk like you bloody well know. Just don't buy the game or DLC character and all will be fine...

  • @goliathprime it will the illusive man in Mass effect 3 is looking for the prothean super weapon and evidence of it is on mars

  • @SuperCasperman To be clear yes I am buying the game. I have preordered the game months ago and cant cancel it. And I don’t want to. I may hold a negative opinion for an aspect of the game is not a total condemnation of the game. Far from it. I hold great disappointment for those who make such claims. Lets wait for the game to come out first. But I will express dislike for aspects that we do know that I disagree with

  • @SuperCasperman Thirdly I fail to see what message you wish me to see here. Basically i see that posting a message that is rude, insulting, vindictive and full of unsourced assumptions will lead to someone else doing the same thing? Your comment is really not condemning behaviour like this when you indulge in it too. Also you swear in your comment, another trait you are apparently trying to discourage and make comments on my personal life you have no way of knowing.

  • @SuperCasperman Secondly I have already admitted that I was wrong and apologised. If this poster in question wishes a formal apology then I am sorry. You were right, I was wrong and my insults were childish and unnecessary. I am not going to make any excuse because I dislike doing so so I will leave it as that

  • @SuperCasperman Bioware has stated the DLC was built during the debugging, licencing and shipping phase to make clear it did not distract Bioware from the game itself. Yet the art book states they designed the Prothean squadmate from scratch, based on the Collectors design. This includes the armor and facial detail. If Bioware had already designed and added Protheans in the game proper, then the DLC team would at least have the intial design. Otherwise Bioware would be lying.

  • @SuperCasperman First. How do you know this? Do you have a source? Im not kidding I really want to know. Do you have a site? The idea is strange to me since one Prothean surviving was impossible enough then we find dozens of them is kind of overblowing the effect a living Prothean should have. Its like if we had multiple Legions, which would kind of blow the surprise of finding a friendly geth.

  • @ailiasiewicz I am mostly basing this on the story we know is about find and repairing a Prothean superweapon. So from that we can assume the main story will be Shepard understanding Prothean technology, uncovering Prothean history, uncovering their secrets. And this leads to a living Prothean, the first and only in 50000 years and he . . doesn’t know a thing about the weapon and in no way adds anything to the main plot. Really?

  • @SuperCasperman Maybe she is just a crew member? I don't have the artbook. Yet.

  • @ThePhoenixrider100 just so you know he isnt the only fucking prothean in the game. hes just one that u can let join ur squad . theres a whole bunch of them that survived thru cryo freezing. see this is what u get when u listening to other fucking ppl instead of urself or at least reading up on sumthing instead of sum kid mouthing off to youtube knowing damn well he is still going to buy the game smh
