Hi,

I am very sorry but I don't know sign and am trying to understand what audism is.

I am very HoH. Oh....

The only sign language I know is

"I Love You".

After watching a lot of these videos, I got an idea.

You want to fight audism, you have to get together and educate the hearing community.

Imagine if each deaf person had a video called "Are you an Audist?"

1) Simple

2) Assumes person doesn't know ASL and won't learn it

3) Teaches them to be less of an audist.

This means, each "deafie" needs to think from the hearing person's view first..

Imagine thousands of these videos. Each person make one. Tells there friends. Eventually ..

I'm a victim of audism the past 13 years. I make a lot of noise. Result? I'm extremely unpopular, defamed and ridiculed by greedy relatives, lawyers, and judges. I don't care. Fighting back and making a lot of noises is good for my morale, good for my spirituality, preserves my dignity and self respect. It's hell. Pure Hell. I have to be drug free and alchol free in order to stay sane and alert at all times. Audism is hell.
