  • Thanks. The action is not heavy as it is suspended mechanical action. It is very comfortable even in pieces playing on the Résonance (3rd manual) with the two lower manuals coupled up (Positif to Grand-Orgue and Grand-Orgue to Résonance).

  • The 3 star hotel adjacent to the abbey church is the former Dominican abbey, vacated in the 60s. I have not stayed there. You can find the website sit if you google 'st maximin hotel'.

  • I'm sorry to bother you but could you tell me exactly what you're referring as to ' Monastery/hotel next door'? Is it a hotel you stayed in? Could you tell me the name of the place? Thanks.

  • très beau reportage en 2 mouvements. Orgue somptueux. Un de mes plus grands chocs musicaux. Merci à P. Bardon de son accueil.

  • This is a magnificent organ and the Basilica and Monastery/hotel next door is an experience never to be forgotten. Beautiful photographs and wonderful memories.

  • Good recording and pictures! The organ looks quite large, was the action very heavy? (I assume it was tracker action)
