you can never take out evil from humanity, cause humans live evil. deep deep inside everyone has evil in them, so people never use that deep evil in them, and others do. but even if the whole world was mad out of soft cusions and bouncy stuff and nothing was hard, no guns to weapons, a person will still find a way to kill.
I disagree with Koukl. I do not believe pain and suffering are truly necessary to make one a better person or to build stronger virtues. Only a relationship with God will make us better and build virtue and moral. It's a big difference. Many people have become morally or virtually corrupt due to much pain and suffering. Yet, there are those who have lived a life free from much pain and they become better people. Pain and suffering are the results of sin...not a human cure to make us better.
@daferzlol wow good point. If there was no evil we wouldnt have the capacity to recognize good, even if it was there. I believe the Bible tells us that God did not created evil, evil manifested itself because God gave us free will. and without free will, we wouldnt have choice, choice brings forth freedom, we misused that freedom decived by satan, and that brought out sin and therefore death into the world.
That's why i praise and thank Jesus everyday for his Love Sacrifice on the cross.

If these moral goods are so valuable, why aren't they also cultivated in heaven.
