The Chosen One - A Harry Potter Tibute

My tribute to the greatest series of the last 10 years.

Synopsis: Harry was marked from the age of 1 as the Dark Lord Voldemort's sole enemy. Harry grew up in his Aunt and Uncle's house until the age of 11. From there, he started his descend at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry learns how to use magic and eventually confronts Voldemort in the underbelly of Hogwarts. Though Voldemort isn't permanently gone, Harry continues his training.

In his second year at Hogwarts, Harry learns how to duel and faces the return of Voldemort in a memory-based version of his 16 year old self. Little does Harry know, after fending off Voldemort a third time, he destroyed one of Voldemort's Horcruxes.

In his third year, Harry learns more about his father's past. His father's old school friend, Remus Lupin becomes the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. He helps Harry overcome fear by teaching him how to use a Patronus Charm.

In his fourth year, Harry faces Voldemort's minions in an attack on the Quidditch World Cup. He then discovers that Hogwarts will play host to the magical competition known as the Triwizard Tournament. His name mysteriously rises as one of Hogwarts' Champions. He then prepares to undergo the most challenging competition known to wizard kind. Through three challenges, Harry demonstrates his ability to use magic effectively. At the end of his last challenge, Harry is teleported to a graveyard where he encounters Voldemort a fourth time. He escapes, but barely.

In his fifth year, Harry must deal with the pressures of the Wizarding world. The Ministry of Magic believes Harry is lying about Voldemort's return. He eventually encounters the dark wizard a fifth time, but this time, Dumbledore comes to defend Harry. But Voldemort isn't done yet, he possesses Harry and leaves him feeling exposed and weak.

In his sixth year, he must face the growing tension of Voldemort clutching both the Wizarding world and the Outside world. He is called the Chosen One and must face the challenges of being famous once again. He also begins learning the secrets of Voldemort's past. He and Dumbledore go on several mini-missions to track down pieces of Voldemort's soul that have been scattered over the world. Dumbledore, Harry's mentor and guide, is killed along the way. This leaves Harry emotional wounded and fearful of what else Voldemort can do.

In the final installment, Harry skips school to continue the hunt of Voldemort's soul. He faces death head on and eventually confronts Lord Voldemort for the final time. In the climatic battle, Harry triumphs over evil and defeats Voldemort once and for all.

How does this not have more comments?? I am a HUGE HUGE Harry Potter freak (one of the ones who have read the book 5 times and goes to the theater dressed up) and I thought this was beautiful. I can't believe its almost over. I have been reading the books since I was in second grade... I'm going into 11th so Harry Potter has been my life for around ten years.
