Australian Greens Senators Bob Brown & Rachel Siewert speak at the Convergence on Canberra rally.

On Tuesday 12th February 2008, people from all around Australia came together for "Convergence on Canberra", calling for an immediate review of the NT Intervention, restoration of the Racial Discrimination Act, Aboriginal control of Aboriginal affairs, and implementation of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous peoples.

  • Wow!! I'm from Colombia but love Australia, I lived there for about a year. I remember PM Howard tried something like this nine years ago.

    Australians like you guys are already aware of the way Earth's habitants are suppossed to move into the future. I wish we could do something like this in Colombia, even thou it's different cos we mixed, but Aussies u ppl are great.

  • Its a shame the Greens are the only party with any backbone in Australia. Thank god The Greens exist they are the only party with any convictions and political nouce.
