Don't listen to what some of the others are saying, your walkthroughs are an immense help! I just got the Hard badge....some levels I couldn't do what you did, so I did my own thing, but most of them I'd look at the percentage and direction of your shots (I don't have the infinite line) and go from there. Mega thanks!!!

maybe, but withoput the line it is nearly impossible to get the right position. tried one lvl, the last one missing, about 60 times. then chose another way...

Actually, I find platinum to be entirely different from gold. With gold, you can analyse the path your ball will take to make sure you get it right, while with platinum, the game devolves into a pixel hunt, which is especially frustrating in competitions.

gold and platinum are identical... just platinum is without the line at all.
