Outside Lands

Outside Lands in San Francisco this last weekend was INCREDIBLE! If you didn't hear about this music festival, the following music groups performed live: Radiohead, Beck, Tom Petty, Primus, Cake, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Regina Spector, Wilco, Toots and the Maytals, Two Gallants... the list goes on. The Polo fields in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park saw quite a show.

Anyway, your YouTube friend, NorCalCorsello was there! It was fantastic, incredible, amazing, super cool! I shot 3+ hours of video on my pocket camera. I interviewed dozens of people and got some really great videos. I am now in the process of trying to edit it into a presentation under 10 minutes long. It will be no easy task, but then neither is sifting nuggets of gold from the sand.

New friends, if any of you actually made it here, and my regular subscribers you are in for some good "on location" video.

I was inspired by the success of my "Grateful Dead Parking Lot" video and I am clearly very excited about some of the footage I got. In the end, you'll see some good stuff... now if I can just figure out how to cover this thing without violating any copyrights. I got a plan. I think I can pull this off.

But, I'm sure it was all worth it for an incredible three days of music and fun in the city. Can't wait to see the finished footage.

Wow, sounds like a blast, looking forward to the edited video! Hmmm... I don't know that just showing a snippet of a band performing in an edited documentary video would be considered a copyright violation, that's something worth checking into. Anyway, good luck, and have a great day :)
