this song is a tiny fleck of exquisite gold dust. ... 'she's a lady.. ain't talking 'bout no little girl...'...

The thing that I've come to acknowledge after performing in front of people is that you are ultimately giving people a space and time in which to experience. Not just the songs but themselves. I think it's beautiful that people are comfortable enough to have a conversation with one another. Not trying to control the crowd but giving them an environment to be.

@ossman52 What a bizarre response! .. I used to perform myself that's why I hate it so much. .. You hope you can transport the audience with you .. how can anyone be in the moment with you when they are just getting off on being there and screaming OVER you... OR what you are playing is so f*cking loud anyway the type of music doesn't lend itself to any emotional journey. I pay to go HEAR the real thing .. and not dickheads ruining my experience.. seriously WHY the f*ck do they do it? ..

I like his voice, still trying to listen to more of his music. We have to have a best hair award this year!

In Ray's original version of You Are the Best Thing (which can be found in a live version on youtube), he sings "it's the woman in you that makes me wanna be with you for always." so yes, there is a correlation between this song and You Are the Best Thing. please apologize to mel

I started listening to Ray at the age of 20. I instantly wanted to learn music. I bought a guitar. This spaked a brand new thing in me.
I am now 24 and own all different kinds of instruments from guitar to keys to drums.
Music is my life.
Kids, forget drinking on street corners, or how many girls you can finger. Forget expensive clothes and jewellery. Realise there is so much that music can give you and that it can help to shape you into an intelligent, thoughtful and interesting person.
