Hey genius.

An M-16, (or what the military calls an M4), has a selector switch on the side of the weapon that makes it semi-auto or full auto.

The AR-15 doesn't have that switch, (or the mechanism that does on the inside), hence it is NOT a full auto weapon, and modifying it to go full auto is a felony.

Youd think in you might have learned something in your short but useless 20 years on the planet.

I never claimed to be an expert on firearms, (though I have fired every make and model in the US arsenal during my tour in Viet Nam).

However, I do know the difference between a "machine gun" and a semi-auto rifle, and the true meaning of an "assault" weapon.

@SmokeyBear002 AR15's can be semi-auto or full-auto it is a specified family of rifles not a specific model the fact that he specified the test model was semi-auto still proves you're retarded.@GooDaDDy101 the M16 is a specific model which is VERY different from the M4 depending on variation ie. A1,A2,A3 or A4 have semi-auto/full-auto or semi-auto/3 shot burst. I do not claim to be a all knowing genius thats obama's job. all I wanted to do is clarify some things so you wouldn't look stupid.

I'm all for gun rights, but I can't stand people who are super left or super right. Obama is not a great President but he's far form the worst. I'm tired of people acting like the world was just perfect before Obama came to office. I can't say that I agree with how there trying to fix the problems, (economy, medicare, war) but at the same time we can't act like the problems were his fault. We need to come to the realization that all elected officials are scum.
