I built a voltage doubler circuit and hooked it up to a stepper motor and a hard drive motor to check the outcome.

  • Maybe, If it is 6VAC and double it you get 12, and you turn it into DC and add a capacitor you should be able to get it to 16.989 minus the lose of the diodes. IF you have 6VDC you can use the joule thief circuit from a camera flash. Just be sure to add one for every amp of current you are making. I have one hooked up in my other video.
