On June 5, 2010, Maine was under Tornado Watch for several hours. I drove around looking for a good place to watch for tornadoes in Bowdoinham, Richmond, Topsham and Brunswick, after all I have bad luck with weather and trees. Staying home was just driving me crazy.
To see all the pics from my storm watch, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iY1vn60g8Kc or click on the video annotation at the end of the video.

  • Did you go out again on Wed21July2010, when Maine had 3 more tornadoes?

You are a beautiful storm chaser. Like Dorothy Gail with Red Hair. Where's Toto?

;-) Have fun and be safe.

  • @BeeCirca Thank you for the lovely comments. I didn't go chasing on this last storm because I was on my way to work but as soon as I got there I went out on the porch and filmed the thunder and lightning. I love storm chasing, it's such a rush.

  • Did you know that Maine is the alcoholic capital of the United States? True.

  • @ciao614 lol I believe it. 90% of people meet their significant others at bars.

  • @Bhew82, I don't know if you use Twitter, but I am Tam_Elbrun there. I post a lot of weather observations. We can trade weather related tweets, if you like. I hope we get some more interesting storms before the season is over. Be Safe and Take Care!

  • I am glad to know there are some other weather enthusiasts and storm chasers in the Northeast.
