It was due to steve austin, vince mcmahon changed his wwf new generation era to a more edgier product which came to be known as the attitude era.He was the first man who would stunner his boss and many others later followed the same path with vince.For me even though he had a 7 year career in wwe he made the biggest impact in professional wrestling in which wwe saw its peak height in the late 90's
