@vanguard1952 I'm not sure. I think while Connie wanted to remain on the charts, the British Invasion took over and she was the biggest thing on the concert tour and the biggest female star in Vegas and she probably concentrated more on that than on her singles.

@Shrinksjp Couldn't agree more,but so should "Don't Ever Leave Me" and a few others. What happened? Why weren't they marketed properly? A personal appearance would have helped. She came to the UK in 1965 to promote My Child,and that was a (comparative) success,but she'd lost out by then. Was her manager any good? Don't Ever Leave Me could have been massive.

i start listening to connie francis after i watched futurama where seymore (frys dog) waited for him to come. after all connie francis is a great singer. i love her voice and most of her song..
