My dad almost died of cancer in 2008, and he still struggles. That disease precipitated a series of horrible events in my life. I had a dream in which this song was looped and I was standing on a deserted, massive cliff, watching a sun set, and there was "Redemption City" below me. I couldn't get to it, and there was a giant set of teeth descending upon the horizon. It was creepy as hell. When I woke, I painted it.
