This is track 3 of the 8 first week mixes that have surfaced. Some of the nuances are lost by Youtube but it's at least 100x better than the album version.

Personally, as a producer, I prefer lower vocal mixes. Plus the guitar solo and the drums during the outro are both orgasmic. I prefer this mix.

How this was deemed commmercial suicide I do not see. It is far superior to the album version though.

I think this version sounds better with the obvious exception of the vocal. Albini needs to get over it, and stop burying the vocals on all his recordings. But the bass in particular sounds fucking phenomenal on this version.

@anecsey keep in mind this is the rough mix and the actual finnished product sounds way better. personally i think it may not have been albinis best its still great
