@PhanatixDDH I would say the Shaq vs. Hakeem would be a better argument because, for the most part, they played in the same era (though they did peek at different times) mostly under the same rules. Of course Lebron can go through people these days with the league's cream puff joke defense they allow the defenders to play!

Shaq & kobe's, as well as Magic's Lakers only beat 1..Isiah's pistons didn't beat any 60+ win teams & the best team Bird's Celtics ever beat were the '84 Lakers, his other 2 titles came against 2 suspect Rocket teams, 1 of which had a sub .500 record.

Lebron's help defense is on par with Jordans, but one-on-one i just don't see him getting there.
And I don't even think Lebron is faster line to line, he's just bigger and stronger so he doesn't have to work around people, he just has to go through people. Not a knock on Lebron, its just a different style of play and it works. The argument for Lebron vs. MJ (MJ is better) is similar to the argument for Shaq vs. Hakeem.
