I think so too or better yet, make it permanent. Because up until around 1992 or 1993, I grew up with the 1989-92 theme.

yeah i grew up with the 1983-98, 1989-92 and 1992-94 themes. I hope the 1989-92 theme will make it permaanent, insted of the big band version in 1994.

IMO, they should remix it slightly but not too much so it won't sound like total crap.

yeah i agree....they should bring back the 1989-1992 theme.

If the current theme song is not liked by the producers, considering it is not played from the full theme, then they should get rid of it and bring back and randomize the old themes. In which case, they could randomly choose a theme song and play it during the opening and/or the closing of every episode they do. Don't you agree?
