In the first episode of the all new Mexico season of Expeditions, I visit the old mines that my new hometown of Zacatecas, Mexico was built on. They stopped working in these mines decades ago, but something strange is still happening below.... (Based on the mission "spend 2 hours underground in an interesting environment" by David.

  • I love all the traveling you do. I love your attitude too. Would you put me in touch with your fairy God Mother? Do you travel for your work and do these informative altruistic videos in your free time? Some of the old cellars in Europe are used for night clubs and pubs too. The acustics are great. Thanks for sharing them Ryne.

  • I typically WORK an as excuse to TRAVEL, but now I do my comics and videos full time, so I travel wherever I feel like it. Right now my primary job is comics, but I try and squeeze in as many road trips to film episodes as I can.

  • Weeeiiird. I guess it's better than leaving the mines empty waiting for some poor tourist to get lost wandering through them.

  • i love that disco!!!

    its really original

but yeah theres a lot more in that mine!

  • I love Zacatecas iv'e been in the mine a couple of times but not in the disco. hopefully next time! cool video by the way

  • Hopefully I can do a whole episode on it, if they'll let me go down there looking for the silver!

  • Are you from Zacatecas?

  • Whoop, thought I responded to this before but it never showed up! Before coming to Mexico, I applied for jobs overseas. Mostly teaching. My employers paid for airfare, housing, everything. I saved up enough money working in India to come to Mexico, and now I make money doing my comics and videos!

  • Yeaph, you're right, my bad!
