Bring back the old Volvo 2 speed gearbox and you still see a rare one going today. AWESOME!!!!!!!! forget scania L94ubs's. Volvos had Fast and slow speed, not like the MAN's Scream their heads off to get to 60 let alone 100 on the 228 run down main north road you guys got no idea.....untill you drive them. the guy at Port Adelaide has got it right.
the bus was not on tour, its doing the 229 route driving up kesters rd in para hills. also the sl's are more reliable the most of the new crap out today

Ozzy7990 yes it was on a enthusiast tour you wont there so you wouldnt know. this tour was held on Saturday 16th February 2008 and Kesters Rd was part of a video run so that enthusiasts could get a photo or video of the bus going up the hill and 229F's dont run on saturdays either if you look at the supp board it will say MAN SL200 Farewell Tour. they were due for retirement in 2008 but they got an extension and currently have a red accreditation stickers and are in service until they run out

the plastic Scania's i was referring to are the Custom Coaches bodied Scania L94UB's ones now at Port Depot 1246-1250 1251-1268 1200-1209 were taken off the O-Bahn due to heavily shaking problems and were sent to Port Depot from St Agnes to replace the SL200s that were Retired.

2451 was deliberately driven like that as it was an enthusiast tour, the people running are enthusiasts still realiable better than the plastic Scania which will end up falling to bits soon BOMMMMMMMMP! "B58PMCSA" it is fitted with a ZF 4HP500 Trasmission
