@MalkungenHomerS (SPOILERS) i was actualy wrong :S according to final fantasy ultimania guide garland planted the lifa tree 5000 years befor the year 0. the game ends around the year 1800, so garland is about 6800 YEARS!!! =D maybe he has even more but the game itself tell us that garland was created by the time of gaia and terra's fusion, so this calculations may be right. =) i made some reasearch because i had forgotten about this (:

I still think this was a fun game. A lot of people hated it but it's a fun, not for the hardcore type of RPG. But damn ... All those 2-3 steps then battle was annoying!
