"Are different sites treated differently? e.g. are blogs treated differently than e-commerce sites? Does Google attempt to figure out the context of a site or are all websites equal?"

  • Matt, what's that big red dot on your head?

  • Hi Matt, this is Amit from India. I have watched all your video where you answers several questions but I don't know where to send you my own questions.

It would be helpful for me if you or anyone would reply me, where to write you.

  • actually a good question: categories of types of sites in universal search naturally implies that eventually one might be "higher" than the other (s UI continues to evolve) eg: in Korea search engines, combined (universal) search results, blogs are usually listed way before web pages. yikes!

  • good question...i think google does try to distinguish between type of the sites i have seen google trying to categorize searches bases on the type of the site

  • My sites are treated the best

  • So, different type of sites are treated differently

But what's better Blog or Website ?

  • Matt has hair...hmmmm, older video posted today...
