I don't care what anybody says. This was hockey. You don't think Leaf fans didn't like this stuff? Even today in the new pansified Euro NHL the ACC still erupts when there's a fight or a big hit. Hockey without hitting and intensity is baseball

The game is not Canadian anymore, it's Euro. No touching no fighting just pure ice dancing for guys like Crosby and Ovechkin to get 60/70 goals. Bring back the most skilled player/position in all of hockey. THE GOON!!!!!!!!!!

Before the fight began there were 10 things that would have been called penalties today, Thank you Bettman and owners for destroying this great game. The NHL is an unwatchable powerplay fest where a quarter of the games are decided by a gayout. NHL fever, catch it!!
