  • As a serious operator myself I ask:Whats wrong with a privately funded Army? If you got the money - hire them. If you don't , piss off. If they were not sucsessful they wouldnt exist or get paid. These are highly trained bad-asses who would kick any of your asses so please, please go watch the Woodstock movie or something.

  • I sadly wish I was millionare and hire blackwater to stop injustices all over the world. I wish they would stop the drug cartels, darfur, and all the murderous gangs who murder defenseless people. Well dreaming is free :)

  • Behold, the future of the world's military.

  • Watch this interview and then watch Wolf Blitzer's interview and you'll notice some things. They were filmed around the same time, just after Prince was testifying to congress. You'll notice that he stays on message, welcoming "oversite", and avoiding tougher questions about financing and conduct of his 'employees". In other words, he's a perfect politician.

  • Another Murdering war loving NIGGER!

  • Charlie Rose is a whore with no moral character.

  • Darfur could've used a force like this. Hell, Rwanda would've been more peaceful if the UN had actually followed through with hiring Executive Outcomes.

  • @boxant Maybe it was at another point but during Iraq the ratio at one point was 1 to 1. They do have protection, since they are not acting as a direct military they have been unaccountable. Remember the 4 deaths in Felujah, the four guys from Blackwater that were killed. There was no investigation into that. Well they do get away with shit, you obviously are uninformed about all this, especially about the cowards in Blackwater.

  • @235RB Oh brother, comparing those numbers is ridiculous, how more state military personal are there in Iraq than BW (the answer is "a lot")?

The only way private firms could be less accountable is if they have state protection from litigation, which is not something I would ever advocate. In addition, to argue that private firms are "worse" because they have state protection is putting the blame on the wrong entity.

Any private firms accused of trophy killings?

  • @boxant Really? How many blackwater guys have been prosecuted for wrong doings in Iraq? answer, only two, one for child pornography, both had nothing to do with crimes against Iraqis. Number of military members court marshalled, is 64 maybe more. They are absolutely not held to a higher degree, You have it backwards.
