Rainbow Michael playing with time and space in the back yard.. It just so happened that the Icosahedron in the back lined up with some of the anti-spin trifoils.. a little added visual flavor.. Enjoy!

  • I really dig the the isolation shifts up and down, kinda like a linear extension out of an isolation. Great vid!

  • It is vertical linear isolation... if you imagine music bars extending of the side of the hoop in vertical parallel lines. you are isolating the lines and defining the path of the hoop.. and you can do them in any defined plane of movement. I saw your vertical hoop video, stoked to have something to practice.. Thanks

  • Wow, Michael, that was absolutely mesmerizing!!! Off to practice my isolations right now!!! The side-to-side stuff, is that the anti-spin?

  • The straight line side to side stuff is called linear isolation and could be called a one or two beat antispin.

Anti -spin is a universal code and law and is how our planets remain in orbit and how our cells move as well.

The concept has to do with 2 circle!

One being your greater circle represented by the shoulder and your lesser represented by the hoop. the hoop rotation is going forward and my arm circle is going backwards. Anti-spin allows for a greater control of movement

  • Yes, eyedea it is anti-spin, our universal code scientist call it counter rotation... Your greater circle (arm) is going a different direction than your smaller circle (hoop). Thanks for the comments everybody!!
