Ingrid Fliter - Chopin Piano Works

An international spotlight focused on Ingrid Fliter when she won the 2006 Gilmore Artist Award, only the fifth pianist to have been honoured in this way. Fliter is also participating in the BBC's "New Generation Artist" programme. Her recital CD release is probably the most hotly anticipated debut album of this year amongst the core classical community. The release of a digital EP containing part of the CD album has increased her profile further in the UK media since its release in January at a time of increasing focus on digital downloads in the classical world. A second digital EP will coincide with the CD release.
