The 1976+ CSL/320s turbo had a 2.0l 4 cyl w a single KKK turbocharger -that produced 600whp on race tune (30psi)- latter becoming the motor that drove BMWs success in F1 in the 70-80s

No they don't, all IMSA CSL's have kugelfischer fuel injection and they product about 440 bhp.

as far as i know they used carbs for the race versions like the m1, it was pretty much the same engine as the m1 and yes im sure the street ones were fuel injected, actually the straight sixes havent changed much since then, the m3 i had was the same 3.0 engine and pretty much the same set up and same block, as the m1 only the 3.0 m engines were fuel injected and both , oddly enough put out 286 bhp ! i got mine to 330 bhp and 240 pounds of torque, but thats another story : )

weren't these fuel injected? the street versions were fuel injected as they used the same engine as the CSi, but maybe becuase this is the race version, pumping 350 HP or more, they went back to carbs,
