so on reflection is it preferrable that saddam hussain would have continued to reign with his programme of sickening torture,ethnic cleansing and dictatorship.As far as i am concerned Tony Blair struck a massive blow for democracy and human rights . He made the right decision. Its inredibly devastating for those whos families were lost but perhaps the greater good was to stand up against terrorism.

@2010butchd That doesn't surprise me about his blood money, and the public are asked to contribute to charities like 'Help for Heroes' for injured brit soldiers, which i find strange to be honest, why do they need help? Isn't their goverment looking after them? oh no of course , the soldiers have served their purpose.
