@zabadazidit the music changed in 76
-
@OnTheRun167 well during the early years they actually did that.
-
Noticed back then that no one got the $500 cash bonus for getting the exact price on the bid to get up on stage. When did they start doing that? I don't quite remember when.

From what I've read, this episode was a replacement. The show originally scheduled to rerun was #0153D from December 13, 1972, but was assumed to be replaced because the showcase winner was $209 away, which may confuse some people who wonder why it wasn't a Double Showcase win.

I originally taped this and unfortunately lost it when I converted it to disc. I also stupidly threw the tape out. Bummer!!!

@mackbee628 : I don't know when they changed the music, but all the theme music for TPIR was done by Sheila Cole. The music they used in 1975 to call people to "c'mon down" was called "Walking" by Sheila Cole.

great job
This is back when people actually bid and didn't bid a dollar over someone else or bid a dollar total.

He's not in a nursing home. He's not an invalid. He's perfectly capable of doing the same things he could do then. He could still kick Adam Sandler's ass! lol!
