2nd gear is too long to complete that burnout or you have to do a longer 1st gear burnout and make the tires a bit greasy and you can still do it in 2nd.

The rule of thumb for Mustangs would be 3.73 for Manual and 4.10s for Auto. I'm about to drop some 3.73s in my Stang real soon.

4.10s are beastly...I Know :)
The only things I don't like about them is the gear noise.
