One of if not my favorite vacuums for daily use. The Panasonic Jet Flo MC-658U Dual Purpose. It's about 1/3 smaller than the full size Panasonic uprights making it very nimble. It's also fairly quiet. Features a brushroll on/off switch and a bag alert on/off switch. Like all upright Panasonics there is a port on the back for connecting a hose and wands.

  • What a great little machine, and rather quiet, too! It looks like an old Hoover Dial-A-Matic!

  • @OHhooverpoof it does indeed in smaller scale

  • So how do you think that panasonics compare to others as far as deep cleaning your carpets? Some people are not a fan of the floating floorhead but I for one am a fan of it.I think it makes them very easy to run across the floor and it puts the brushroll into the carpet enough for good agitation. But I was wondering what you thought of them scense you use them alot.Thanx.

  • @panaclean775

They're good but there are much better deep cleaners. For example the Royal in my other video, Kirbys all models (too expensive though) and any of the vintage Hoover Concepts etc that had the quadriflex agitator. All will outperform these.

  • It looks like you have a very nice collection of Panasonics.Which one is really your favorite?

  • @panaclean775

This one probably is my favorite if I really had to pick one.

  • I use U or U3 bags in all my Panasonic uprights.. I'm not sure why you say you need to tape them in?

  • HELP !! I have a Panasonic JET-flow model MC-6255 It´s a great vintage vacum but the problem is that here in Mexico i cant find bags for it!! im using type U bags and making them fit with tape wich is not great i need to know the exact model of bags so i can order them from the U.S. any info would be great!!

    Greetings from Mexico!

  • I think that this one was one of the best machines Panasonic ever made: it's a shame that it wasn't more popular than it was. I remember that I used to use one of these when I ran a cleaning business: it was easier to manuever and less expensive to maintain than some of the other machines I had!

  • Those were cool. Not many of them around any more, they weren't as popular as the bigger machines. It was one of the few "light weight" vacuums that were good quality.
