Firefly Kiss

So, I was at the firefly panel at Dragon Con. I wasn't sitting close enough to get a good shot of anything but the screen, sorry. I'm sure a better vid will be up on youtube soon.
What lead to the events in this video was that someone asked Nathan Fillion if he thought Mal would get with Inara or Yo-Saf-Bridg first if the show had continued. He replied that it would never happen because it would get them cancled. Jewel Staite then pipped up "so that means you guys are never going to kiss?" The crowed roared and I couldn't hit record fast enough.

@mindsoulbody - excuse me, but being an actress doesn't make you a whore. and just because she's done something for her job doesn't mean she'd want to do it on a whim, or that Nathan would assume she would. When he kissed her on the cheek instead of the lips, Nathan was showing respect to Morena. perhaps you could do a bit of the same.

@Onlera33 if Inara could show her whole assest in an old movie, then I'm sure kissing wouldn't be a problem. By default, MOST actresses and actors are whores. So no big deal. I wanted him to kiss her and the other girl too. Hell, threesome is the way to go.

@Mrster - it's a stage technique used to fake kisses, where you control the angle. if you look at 0:09, you can see that he's kissing closer to her cheekbone than to her mouth. he leaned in front of her face to disguise that fact. you can also see it when he breaks contact, that he's coming off her cheek, not her lips.

but to be fair, i can kinda see nathan doing that ^^; i mean, these guys are all good friends, so i don't think Morena would've been TOO mad if he'd kissed her on the lips
