  • Is that comment directed to me? If so, I'm somewhat confused.

  • are lipizanners always white cuz i saw sum1 once who sed she had a lipizanner horse and it was black! i thought they were always white. or should i say grey?

  • Usually, Lipizanner foals are born dark and then become lighter the older they get. But occasionally they stay black, so it is possible!

  • thats looks hard ont he horse's body eh?

  • No not really - the airs above ground just harness and control the sort of actions young stallions perform in the field anyway, of their own free will. It certainly doesn't hurt the horse. :)

  • Actually these airs can be very hard on a horse if they are not trained and conditioned - at the Spanish Riding School they spend years and years getting the horses fit enough to do this, and balanced and well schooled enough. They don't just jump in the air - there's a very specific way the jumps have to be executed.

  • You are trying to say this is just taking a horse jumping around in a field? I am afraid you don't understand anything about how this is done. Podhajsky said not one in 10,000 horses can do the GP dressage, and of them, only a few can do this work. THis is the culmination of collection and years of training and only some horses can do this, not just someone yelling, 'Jump Sparky, Jump!'

  • @Weirdohz Because the trainer is holding the reins......... why should it need to move its head for this?

  • @xXxdarkrosebudxXx It is the second hardest. The hardest is the one that is done in the air. I can't remember what it is called though. Only certain horses can do the third and hardest move.

  • @animelover462 I was thinkin the same thing.. LOL poor guy

  • @pirouette987 LOL! XD

  • @06howek Lippazanner are born black then a 1-2 years of age they fade to grey and then cream white and they are white not grey they rae cream white i read a book called Meastoso Petra and he told about his life in the back of the book they said they are always white as an adult not grey

  • I've got a Nokota/SteenMountain Mustang who can do many dressage moves. It took me half of an hour to teach her to rear, then we woked from the rear to do other things. :)

But we're still working on the pirouette.

    I love my Mustang! <3

  • Well, they're not as fat as they are strong!

  • This one lady i know has a horse that does a levade while she's tied up if she get's bored

  • Good balance for what appears to be a slightly chubby horse.

  • lol, I thought the same thing :)

But man, if I could have a horse like this, it'd be insane :D
