Salute to this Great Indian Farmer-Sri Prakash Raghuvanshi!!!!!

Fortunately I met this Great person recently on my visit to Varanasi.He is 8th standard drop out because he became visually impaired due to wrong dosage of penicillin.Inspite of this he has great knowledge of indiginuos variety of seeds and is an excellent Plant Breeder. He has developed more than 100 varieties of wheat and several varieties of rice,pigeon pea and vegetables. He was awarded by Dr Kalam and Mrs Pratibha Patil.
But inspite of his great contribution towards the field of agriculture what he got in return -financial problem and bank loan.
He has taken bank loan to produce seeds which he donated to more than farmers for free for their upliftment and now his condition is very pity both physically and financially.
Hence I request all patriotic citizens of my country and even NRI's to help him in whatever way u can because he wants to do a big work in this field and make our nation proud.

I know him from time of my BSc agri study, Rahuvanshi ji always busy for development of new indigenous varieties of different crops. i also got chance to work on his developed varieties for registration under Plant varieties Protection and Farmers Right Act, we have applied for registration of his varieties under this act. Lot of institutes tested his varieties i.e. NRCRM,Bharatpur, CS Azad & BHU agri university and given surprising result. Pls support him

I request people to extend monitory help to Prakash Raghuvanshi, who has taken loan from Banks and is under debt after doing so much good for farmers across the country. He still continues his research in developing more better yielding, disease & pest tolerant varieties of Wheat, Paddy, Pigeonpea and Mustard.
