I don't have to fear for viruses with every download, because I know how internet, computers, and viruses work. I don't even use a virus-scanner, because I never need one. Besides, I'm using Windows XP x64 Edition, I have yet to meet a virus that's targeted for this OS. Also, I never download virus-holding content, because I know what those are like, and I know what files I download, how those files are made, I only use REAL filemanagers like TotalCommander, not that Finder crap you idiots use.

too bad you have to fear for viruses with every download

pitty you guys can't use µTorrent, it's still by far the best client of all..

prob with transmission is it doesn't work with Pure TnA.
THAT IS THE ONLY reason why i don't use transmission.
I use utorrent and its ok.

Its written in Cocoa.... bwahahahaha im such a nerd

it works perfect for me :D pulled down program "comic life" today :)

I also got worried about doing it, but millions of people do it. You have a higher chance of a great white shark biting you on the ass. LOL if you have any doubts about torrenting or you feel guilty don't do it.

I realize its not exactly legal, but do a lot of people torrent for music, movies, programs, etc on mac? I use windows now, but will be making the switch soon. I torrent TONS and am worried that its not a smart thing to do with music, movies, programs, etc on mac osx.
How come you don't use that awesome intro anymore?

Mostly because it adds time to the editing process and sometimes I run very close to YouTube's 10 minute video limit and I need every second possible.

I just say "u" torrent even though the symbol is the Greek letter "Mew".

the reason transmission is like that with multiple torrents is because that cap you out on (80-90 kb/s) is the cap for each individual torrent. i'm pretty sure i'm right but you can correct me if i'm wrong. that means it would max out your bandwidth if two torrents are up'd at 80 kb/s...

Sounds like a reasonable assumption. I'll give it a try when they release the next version of Transmission for OS X.
