corruption is by far more on the right than the left. republicans, do me a favor: you don't have to admit that reagan was a bad president (he was). just admit that he is a polarizing figure and not nearly as popular as you would like him to be. please add a section to the reagan library that deals with the iran-contra affair. i would still say that reagan did some good things, but ultimately his good did not outweigh his bad.

Would you sell out your liberties to the the government for an extra 400 dollars on your tax refund? Millions of Americans would and are doing this right now by accepting Obama's stimulus money!! It's like Benjamin Franklin once said "Anyone who would give up their liberties in exchange for security deserves neither liberty nor security"

C'mon lute, thats an extravagantly tortured arguement. You do not identify which liberties are being sold out and you make it seem that ordinary citizens, not beleagured governors, are making final decisions about stimulus funds. When the dust settles most Red State governors will accept all or most of Obamas 'investment' package. And remember, Blue States have been subsidizing Red States for years as most Red States receive more in fed tax revenues tha they contribute.
