The title of the music might mislead you, but The Secret of Saharas album is not the usual Middle Eastern genre of music, which you might suppose to expect, instead, get ready to hear for a mystifying, and bright score from Ennio Morricone.

It has harmonious exertion; with various, atonal and chorus epic transcribed, without containing action music or imposing tones. Its merely a great inexplicable score and subsequently unusual music. You would imagine with the title "Secret of the Sahara" something Oriental, but its not. You might have never seen the movie, but the same music could perfectly fit into a sci-fi movie, or some epic documentary on ancient history, as well.

The video was created by myself; it shows ancient Pharaohs drawn and painted on Papyrus. The yarn of the characters in the video is mysteriously unknown, but it illustrates a loving couple holding hands and their neighboring existence during the First dynasty in Upper Egypt. Papyrus is a natural fiber produced from the pith of the papyrus plant. The Cyperus papyrus, wetland sedge was once abundant in the Nile Delta of Egypt.

  • Thank you for your interest - actually I named the video "Ancient Secrets" but the music is "The Secret of Saharas" I know there's no Sahara in Egypt but I found this music close enough to the marvellous ancient art with my favourite composer ... and secrets of ancient times when this part of the world seemed so much more peaceful compared to the current times...

  • Of course we have a Shara in Egypt. The Shara Desert extends from Egypt to Morocco

  • What was I thinking!? Now that you mentioned it -- Of course there's the Sahara desert, although not much is left to it... since Lake Nasser discharge from Aswan High Dam they have done so many irrigation and build so many farms into the desert it seems like a forest now... :-)

  • Now that you mentioned it - it sounds more interesting!!

  • Your "Ennio Morricone and Ancient Secrets" is outstanding! There's a reflection on the painting of a window with trees, this gives it a-now-and-then (past and present) depth!! I love it!!

  • Stunning video!! My sister should see this, she's been to Egypt for ecological research, several times... she will love it as much as I do, although I have never been there...

  • Great to know, although sometimes it would be nice to get outside of the phere to see how tiny we look from up there...

  • Oh right the all mighty Caliphate, that are frightened by women, so their only way to show power is to suppress them all!! Sad situation!
