  • @karinablacktie: Recorded Feb. 6, 1963, the first day of sessions for Bill's first album with the Verve label: "Conversations with Myself," on which he used multi-tracking of his piano parts, I believe for the first time. The song's title is an anagram for his good friend, pianist Sonny Clark, who had died on Jan. 13th.

  • Wow, what a dark, brooding piece. Do you know when this was recorded? It's quite a tribute to an amazing talent who died way too young.

  • good tribute to Sonny

  • NIce, is left /righ inverted ?
