Mammoth Grinder - Frozen (in lights)

For 2011 the song is Frozen, by one of my favorite local bands, Mammoth Grinder. They're a great 3-piece who put on a really intense show that all metal fans should see if they get the opportunity.

Frustratingly, this year's production was plagued by technical difficulties. I originally planned to have 32 channels across 2 controllers, but one of the controllers died altogether, so I was left with 16 channels. No problem, just had to combine some light strings and simplify things. After some wiring issues, the remaining controller started doing weird things, and after replacing a couple parts it's working, but not as well as it could. So you'll see some weird random flashes in a couple of spots, and the timing gets wonky in a few places. I could work on it some more, but it's a week before Christmas so it's time to have the light show be finished.

My apologies to to Mammoth Grinder for not doing the best I could on this show.

Still, it was a lot of fun to put together, like it was last year. It's a fast song that was a challenge to program. If you watch closely you'll see that pretty much every note, including all through the ending guitar solo, is accounted for. I hope you enjoy it.
