The second a women turns 40 she's too 'old.' What a load of bullshit. Hermione Norris is the perfect Ros and Ros was the best woman (since Fiona died) that Adam could have asked for.  She saved his life how many times?

The were good characters but why everybody loves them like a couple?

They were so weird together. I mean like friends they were good but everything else is wrong. He was a such good couple with Fiona and while Adam and Ros were couple he never truly loved her.

If Daniel Craig can roll around with Eva Green, then I don't see why Hermione Norris can't have it off with this (admittedly rather James Bond like) Rupert chap. Older men are studs and older women are, what, hags? Double standard.

I have only just started to watch this fantastic TV series and have only watched 2 series yet so i probably should not comment but from watching the many fan made vids , i really cant see the chemistry between Rupert and Hermione, it looks all wrong to me ,a bit like brother and sister rather than lovers.

Frankly I don't know what TV series this excerpts--don't watch TV much--but it's a nice illustration of a great song by Joe Pernice, whom I love. "I hope I never love anybody/The way we never really tried"--yeesh! That can break your heart.

Oh my god, I have found someone who thinks the same as I do! Women often look their best in their 40s. Hermione Norris looked amazing in Cold Feet, don't get me wrong, but I think she looks better a few years older playing Ros.

Maybe it's just taste, for me,I think women generally are at their most attractive in heir 40's, Ros being a perfect example

I shouldn't have written that as a generalisation, but you have to agree that in many cases 40 is 'too old.' A load of bullshit if you ask me but there you go.

And I'm 21 and think she's incredibly attractive as well. Put it this way, if I looked like her I would be insanely pleased. :D
