All the haters here are stupid im pretty sure in the video its called a "demonstration" which means its going to be slow for "learning" in a real fight you will do what he shows you alot more quicker then what he shows lol so the person you block by that time you'll already have them on the ground so why would u sit and say they could throw another punch with other arm.

To skip that annoying intro --- 0:12

he will open up a big big ass
-
the other guy could throw a elbow it it could gush out blood 2 so pretty much he is screwed cause if you catch a hook pretty much there gone swing with the other hand
-
some day i will use this
-
this is a good technique when it comes to someone who is throwing a haymaker u can do alot of moves at that point since all his body is open up..but if someone is throwing a jab/straight then ur pretty much in trouble if u dont know what u doing
-
I don't even take MMA and i know this is wrong..
-
HAHAHAHA WRONG!
-
I wonder why i have never seen that move used in an MMA-fight...
-
i love to block and slam right after i dont use my elbos on the face alot more into the body when there down to weaken there guard
-
well usually that would be a good way to block but usually people dont fight like that unless they are pissed and wailing fist at your head

I use this block all the time against roundhouse punches. The main problem is that he steps in to do block; if he hadn't stepped in then the strike would not have hit him. If the strike would not have hit him, then why would the aggressor have thrown it. You are actually doing an elbow strike to the bicep of the connecting tendon. They will not use that arm again for a while. But I would never do an elbow to the forehead. That will just hurt me a lot.

tango down

So amateur, looks like another karate gym gone MMA to attract customers. NEVER attempt to block like this, that' not even a good parry block, that's for point sparring in karate which would never work in a real fight
-
but at the beginning wouldnt he be able to punch him with his free arm coz the instructors face isnt protected
confused. =/

This is useless without context. It could work, but it would be a huge mistake to use against a punch that wasn't fully committed.
