American kids are kids till they are 21 and that's how older people and society views it they are not respected and this leads to the immaturity which is none existent in the European youth they are trained to be an adult from an early age and they are respected members of society not considered senseless children like in the USA 21 is the legal drinking age in america because of your Molly coddled society

This is stupid. The Government taking power. It should be 18, why?
-Because 18 year olds can wed, can vote, can fight in the army, and can smoke.
Why not drink?
-The economy would boom, because those 18-20 years old added on would make alcohol production and sales increase, better for the economy and the government.
-18 year olds are responsible enough, if they can move out of their houses and be financially stable, they are responsible enough to drink in controlled environments.
