the people on the street looking in--through no fault of their own--have no clue what they're missing. and if they heard even a measure of the music, their day would have been so much better for it.
and i've just now heard this song three ways, back to back...Daytrotter session (devastatingly beautiful), album, and this...i can't get tired of it, each is heartbreaking in its own way.

I met these guys after their show in Dallas. I really can't say enough about their talent, but I was completely blown away by their warmth and humility. Even when it was completely obvious that I was starstruck meeting Beth, they were extraordinarily kind and sweet. I love you Bowerbirds.
