Seal oil are tablets, like Omega 3 supplements.
Wow. Just... wow. It wouldn't have been AS bad if I hadn't actually INTERRUPTED her to tell her No. I get the odd sales call from earlier subscriptions to various things, and they seem to all be as dumb as door-knobs. I realise they're working on provision, but Know when the race is LOST, sweet-heart.

  • I used to have that problem of not being able to say no to people but after a while, some of these people, not all of them, are so relentless they are just asking for you to be rude to them to get your point across of "NO"!I'm polite to them unless they start getting pushy. I then say no thanks one last time and hang up before they have another chance to speak.

  • Yeah, I really don't mind when people try to sell me things in general, it's just when they get so pushy and so insistent that they're basically just taking advantage of people who have trouble saying no. That's when I tend to snap. I overreacted, of course, but at least I didn't yell at the person. It's just her job.

  • yeah, I understand they have to make a living too. one reason I'll never be a telemarketer. the stigma that goes along with that job title is huge. I admit when I hear of someone being a telemarketer, my first thought is, "oh great" I then roll my eyes. LOL! I have had a lot of bad experiences with them. again, I do understand they are doing their job. I just gotta learn not to place everyone in that profession in the same category as those bad few I have had to deal with.

  • Heheh, true. They say people aren't defined by their jobs, and I think that's absolutely right with telemarketers, because most of them don't stay in the job for very long. There's a huge turnaround, apparently.

  • I'm a sales person and if i stopped my pitch everytime someone said no i would only earn 50% of my salary!

  • I can completely relate to that, but wouldn't you agree that if your potential customer said "no" to a product he had already tried over a long period of time and then decided to stop using it, it wouldn't be the best idea to just start telling me the benefits of the product? The benefits I've obviously had time to "experience" myself? Oh, and how much of your salary would you earn if you stopped when they said no twice? This girl just wasn't a good sales person, simple as that.

  • The reason most people in sales acknowledge and then ignore "NO" and "NOT INTERESTED" is because almost EVERYONE says one or both of those things just before they buy.

  • Fagot fucking fagot. Obviously u had a useless sales person on the phone but most of you Twats buy things you don't want every day without even knowing how it happened. I love the way your bigheaded defeat of some pore girl that is just struggling with her job and desperate .

  • You have a good point. But... Possible reason for how it was could be it was a student with no experience doing part-time job earning cash for college. The conversation was annoying but it went the way it did also because of your fault. You should have told you are buying the product from Walmart for much less and and you won't change you mind. What's wrong with that. That's acceptable if you have problem saying no. Hope this helps.

  • ^_^ Thanks.
