Johnny Mathis - Why Did I Choose You

This song is a treasure. It's actually from a DVD of the program, "Live By Request," starring Johnny Mathis. I, myself, own two copies and also buy them and give them out as gifts. If you cannot see Johnny in person, for whatever reason, I highly suggest this DVD. It's the next best thing to being at one of his concerts.

The night it was filmed, one phone request came in from, none other than, Nancy Reagan. Johnny has fans, from all walks of life, and we are all united in our love for his beautiful voice. If you want to find out what she requested, you'll have to buy the DVD. No, it's not one that everyone asks for, in case you're curious.

This track is off of his A&E LIVE BY REQUEST Performance. It completely blew me away. Johnny Mathis is second to none- not Sinatra, Cole, Williams, Como, or Michael Jackson- he stands alone as---- the Best.---- Period.

50 years of recordings and this man still sings with that gift of his so, so well. Arguably the finest voice in the English language over the same period. Who else compares? Streisand? Thanks for posting the video.
