Eric, people like you inspire me to pratice guitar no matter tiring it is. Nowadays music for the current generation is overpopulated by rap and pop artists without any true skills that you posses! I'm glad that there are still extremly talented guitar players in the 20th century to keep raw talent alive!

Those notes are called artificial harmonics. If you look them up there is a great video of TE giving a thorough explanation of what they are and how to play them.
