@Giveussometruth1 and drunk driving...

@LacesOutTyler Even if he did only hit half of them it doubled the record!

I saw Cozy Break this record on Halloween of 1986 in Costa Mesa. During FANFARE FOR THE COMMON MAN! Probably RONDO and AMERICA, as well. He broke his way into my world that night. I wept when I found out that he died. He lives on now in my dvd and cd player..and best of all, in my memories! R.I.P. COZY!!! Jim Myers (long beach, cal).

What 2 great characters Cozy and Roy. Sure made me laugh, I was willing Cozy to do this when watching.
Cozy`s sad death is the best advert for not using a mobile phone whilst driving.
God bless them both.

Ridiculous

...and he remembered his sticks!!! If it was when he was recording with Keith Emerson and Greg Lake (as the presenter states) it was 1985, in true Cozy style he did not tell us he was going for this though!
Whenever I see this I will him to do it!!! What a guy!

@LacesOutTyler I know you are trying to get famous with this :P
but... are you deaf, seriously, i heard much much more toms than Clicks,
you're so full of horse dung
-
i heard something about this being the record for the worlds fastest drums but it wasnt lol.... and anyone with some sense of co-ordination and ability to use drum sticks could do this =\
-
absolute legend shame all the great drummers have sadly passed away r.i.p cozy

Oh my god I remember this! I must have been about 5 when this was on and I just remember this guy playing loads of drums. Being drum mad even back then this was like some sort of wet dream for me! Had no idea it was Cozy Powell of course and I never thought I'd see it again- fantastic!
Muched missed Cozy Powell.
And Roy.
RIP.
