making contact with austria on fm mid band

here i am one wet morning about 7am gmt. im making contact with austria (dx-ing) on the fm mid band. im on highground just outside worthing west sussex south cost united kingdom

the FM mid band is the same as the US/EU standard band, 26.965 to 27.405 MHz. The UK has a higher band (27.6 to 27.99 MHz) and Germany has 40 channels below the mid band.

Aint the same as US. They use AM 26.965-27.405 plus ssb. UK uses 27.60125-27.99125 MHz & 26.965-27.405 MHz both on FM. Germany use mids too 26.965-27.405 FM
